Dr Aaron Goldstein (B.Arts&Sci,MBBS,FRACGP)
Dr Goldstein was born in Toronto and began his Australian adventure in 2006. He arrived in Adelaide to study medicine at the Flinders School of Medicine. Graduating in 2009, Aaron completed internship and subsequent post-graduate training years at the Royal Darwin Hospital. Over five years Aaron explored various interests and worked in several different hospitals. He completed training in Acute Care and General Medicine on the Mid-North Coast of NSW. This was followed by 8-months in paediatric emergency at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. Aaron moved to Cairns in 2014 with his partner Kate and together they enrolled in General Practice Training (Tropical Medicine Training) with placements in Gordonvale and Woree. Aaron gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015 and spent the following year training in vasectomy. He currently practises at Smart Clinics Woree. Dr Goldstein lives with partner Kate and daughter Grace and he loves living in Cairns for its abundance of outdoor activities. He loves mountain biking, boating and fishing, camping, watching movies, eating delicious food and playing guitar. You might find him at Rusty’s Market enjoying a crepe or out at the Smithfield Mountain Bike Park on weekends.
